Environmental Policy

Our policy

We believe that businesses are responsible for achieving good environmental practice and operating in an environmentally sensitive and sustainable manner. 

We are therefore committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral and fundamental part of our business strategy and operating methods. 

It is our priority to encourage our employees, clients, suppliers and all business associates to do the same.  Not only is this sound commercial sense for all; it is also a matter of delivering on our duty of care towards future generations.

 Our policy is to

• Wholly support, comply with and ideally exceed the requirements of current environmental legislation and codes of practice

• Reduce waste, encourage recycling and conscientiously handle disposal

• Regulate and conserve energy, fuel and natural resource consumption by increased energy efficiency

• Apply the principles of continuous improvement in respect of air, water, noise, dust, smell and light pollution on the environment and local community

• Encourage use of materials from renewable resources

• Improve the landscape and retain natural features where possible

• Encourage clients to adopt the principles of sustainability in their design process where possible

• Operate and maintain company plant and vehicles with due regard to environmental issues

• Ensure all employees understand our environmental policy and raise their awareness so that everyone may be involved

• Address complaints regarding any breach of our Environmental Policy promptly

• Update our Environmental Policy annually in consultation with staff and associates
